Relay & Poisoning Attacks

Relay and poisoning attacks in active directory have 3 main components:

1. Victim to steal its hash, see Authentication Attacks if you are not familiar with the hashes types in active directory environment

2. Attacker to receive the hashes to do on of 2 things:

   1. Capture and crack the hash

   2. Capture and relay the hash

3. Proper tools for the attacks
